This trigger in combo with an action job made my 1873 smooth and fast. The repositioned trigger is in the optimal position when closing the action. No searching - no finger pinch.

I put one of these in a brand new rifle so the rifle and trigger wear together. Followed the directions on the website and it was very easy. It’s smoothing up just as nice as I want. Highly recommended.
Since it’s was my first 1873 rifle I was a little hesitant to try it myself but it was hard to take down my punches then to install. Gun smithing not required. Love it

TAKES A LITTLE GETTING USED TO BUT THAT'S EXPECTED. IT PLACES THE TRIGGER A LITTLE FARTHER FORWARD THAN THE ORIGINAL TRIGGER. INSTALLATION WAS A SNAP.

Short stroked my rifle and cycling fast would pinch my finger. This helps a lot. High recommend

Should have done this from the start. No more pinched trigger finger and places the trigger a little farther forward for quicker engagement without having to reach back for trigger when shooting quick sequences. Very easy to install.

Got really tired of suffering the “ ‘73 Bite “ and this trigger not only stopped that but also improved my rifle times as promised. It’s the little things that often improve your overall times and this trigger is definitely one of them.

As a new shooter, I tend to get out of rhythm on occasion and have gotten the bloody trigger finger. I wasn't sure this was the answer but I haven't had it happen since.
