Beginner in cap&ball. Heard about stripped screws and nipples and saw your product used on Youtube. Got the wrench today and immediately tried it.This thing works!

This nipple wrench works great, removing very tight nipples with ease. It is far superior to the standard wrench that is provided with the Italian replicas, having a better fit, design, and especially metallurgy.

Works on my pietta and uberti navy and dragoon stock nipples. Works on slix products. Super solid, definitely one of the best wrenches on the market.

This is the only nipple wrench you should use.

The wrench works fine. It has yet to round off or shave apart, so it's better than the one I had before.

This wrench made removing and installing nipples on my ASM 1851&1860 revolvers. Highly recommend this wrench..

Great wrench for cleaning your nipples

This makes my fourth BP nipple wrench and I like it a lot, it has a longer grip than many and that makes it easier to manipulate

This tool is a very good design and made of tool grade material

Works on nipples that are just snug. When trying to remove some that are stuck tight started rounding off edges of tool. Did more damage to tool than the nipples. Don't know if it will work anymore. If so will just stick with the cheaper ones.

It is highly recommended to use some kind of anti seize compound on the nipple threads prior to inserting them into the cylinder so future removal is effortless. Nipples should be removed periodically anyway to clean and reapply more anti seize compound. The tool is built to prevent destroying the nipples. If the nipples are stuck so bad then soaking them in solvent, rust remover, etc, is highly recommend before trying to remove them. The cheaper tool would have just broke before a nipple could be removed.

The wrench is quality made and I expect it will remain in tact for many years.

This is a great wrench. It's made with quality steel and should last a long time.

The product that I received was of the highest quality! It should last for the rest of my life!

My other wrench is a bit ‘floppy’. It just doesn’t fit exactly right. The SliX Wrench, however, has a tight fit, doesn’t feel floppy, and overall is a very sturdy product. Won’t need another one soon, but if I do it will be another SliX Wrench!

Slixwrench is the only nipple wrench that fit and did not break when used.

I find the size and height make for excellent leverage when getting a nipple to break loose. The T handle and extended top also make for quick removal by allowing more rapid turning compared to the typical wrench. As a black powder gunsmith I find it to be a useful addition to the workbench.

Absolutely the best wrench I have used

I'm no gunsmith, and I'm definitely less experienced with the hobby than a lot of people, but this is the only nipple wrench I've found that just WORKS. Pietta, Uberti, traditions wrenches were soft and breaking or deforming on stuck nipples. This thing just turned em and went on down the road.

I purchased the slix wrench because it was recommended by Dustin Winegar (Guns of the west) on Youtube.

Compared to my Traditions wrench, the slix is more durable and its longer shaft length makes it more ergonomic.

The only thing that I noticed was that it had a very tight fit on the original nipples for my Uberti Walker. Since I was replacing them with slix nipples anyway, it was not really an issue for me.

I really like the design; I can use it in my drill/driver to save time. Seems very well made and fits good. I had two other wrenches before this and this is the best one available I think.

So I installed my new nipples/cones on my Remington replica with my new wrench.
It worked nicely for all except one. A little penetrating oil straightened that right up. I get better torque with the SliX wrench than my older model from CVA. It also seems to fit the nipples better. Thanks for a nice tool that fits in with the other possibles.
