New and Improved Slix-Shot black powder pocket revolver nipples are made from 416 stainless steel and designed to increase ignition performance and reliability. Nipples have an enlarged chamber leading to the flash hole, allowing for a hotter spark. Stainless construction prevents rust corrosion.

SliXshot for Uberti Colt 1962 Pocket Navy

I have these on my Uberti Pocket Navy and Pocket Police models, but they also thread onto a Signature Series (3rd Generation Colt) Trapper's Model as well.
They do an excellent job of staying on the nipple preventing jams and cap sucking so prevalent with Colt replicas.

These work great on Uberti replicas!
Colt hammers have a habit of biting the primers and pulling them off the nipples even if you file the points off them, and these nipples keep the primers from falling off into the action of the gun. Great improvement!! I have put them on a Colt 3rd Generation Signature series 1862 Pocket Police (Trapper's model) as well, and they will work although the threading is a little testy. Be sure to use lube on the threads.

installation on some older uberti 1849's causes problems because the cap well cut out is not cut as deep as later models. this makes capping the revolver impossible due to the contour of the nipples. The nipples themselves are very well made with a nice "small" flash hole.

The nipples are slightly longer than the originals just enough the the cylinder would not rotate, I removed them

Follow up from Dennis 4-28-2025:

Can't say enough about the customer service. Patrick is above a stand up guy. I had ordered nipples for a uberti pocket model and they were too long. stated this in a review and before you know it Patrick says there are shorter ones and he sent 5 for me to try, I haven't yet tried them and hope to this week, I am sure they will work. As stated before fantastic customer support.
