Very nice, solid wrench.

The wrench was absolutely perfect. I had bought a cheap one for my Pietta Lemat, and it didn't fit well at all and I was afraid to use it at risk of damaging something. But this wrench fit perfectly and got the job done and the nipples changed out perfectly. Wasn't expensive either, so well worth the cost overall.

This Wrench is so much Stronger and better than any I have used before.

Just got the Slix-Wrench a few weeks ago... Removed and replaced the nipples on a few percussion revolvers...This last one (Uberti 1860) had a couple of tight nipples...and as a result, the wrench did give way and the ends of the lug "peeled" and now the wrench seems to slip on any nipple that is tight...I will probably need to order a replacement.

I will say that these two nipples WERE pretty stuck...but I also hoped this wrench would last more than three nipple swaps... Willing to try another one.

The tool fit both my old #10 nipples and my new ones. This is a sturdy and good quality tool. I didn't have to buy a second tool thankfully.

I have an original Colt 1860 NMA made in 1863. The nipples where rusted in solid.
Destroyed my Italian made nipple wrench and had to order a better wrench, found this one and it preformed great!
It fit the nipples correctly and gripped them under as much pressure as i was capable of applying. After a couple of soaking with penetrating oil they all came loose!

Just started using this wrench and so far I like it.Its a much better length than my old one.

The Slixspring nipple wrench is much easier to use than other nipple wrenches I’ve used. The wrench fitting is deeper and more durable, and the handle doesn’t cut into your palm when working on a stuck nipple. I would recommend this product to other black powder shooters.

Very Satisfied with the Slix Wrench. I have bought several brands over many years, and can say this is the best by far. This is a more rigid design with heft, and a quality metal is used. Revolvers I've used it on are, 1851, 1860, and 1861 Colts, Leech and Rigdon by Uberti, Remington New Army, Spiller and
Burr, Dance Brothers, and 1851 44 all by Pietta. It should last many years to come, possibly the last one to buy.

Purchased the Slix wrench to do needed maintenance on my '51 Navy and '47 Walker. This wrench makes routine maintenance on your cones a breeze.The wrench made spin-off of OEM cones painless; spinning them back on was even easier! If you (wisely) do the spin-back-to-click method when reseating your cones, you'll feel the positive seating of the cone thru the wrench much better than with those other plastic or potmetal wrenches. Stop wasting your time and money on inferior products. Get one. Do it now!

Very nicely made Nipple wrench,Nicely machined.I am not sure if this is a thing for people that have Second Generation Colt Dragoon’s, however this nipple wrench does not fit the Nipples on my Second Generation Dragoon.As those Nipples are too big.I dont know about the Nipples , on the Italian made Dragoons, like Uberti…However i own an Colt made Second gen, and the nipples are too fat

This wrench is very well designed for the revolvers. That is every size from 1849 pocket up to the largest. Top quality and well worth the cost.

Works great on normal nipples but not for use on stuck rusted nipples.

A good penetrating lubricant used before hand will aid in the removal of stuck nipples: Knock’er Loose Penetrating Lubricant can be found here

Seen a few folks try to reinvent the wheel but it wasn’t necessary. This tool removes the nipples quick with no fuss. I don’t over tighten the nipples on my revolver which, I suspect is the issue for some folks. It works great.

A great improvement over the traditional nipple wrenches usually supplied in kits or with BP revolvers.
