I bought a cheap nipple tool and the first\time I tried it broke. I had my cylinder in a vise and was keeping the tool straight with the nipple. Nope broke right away. I then remember someone telling me about the Slix shot nipples and the Slix Wrench and that I should just get them. I got them today. After getting my cylinder in the vise and putting the wrench to one of them I felt it break free and I was able to get it out. 5 more nipples later and I had all the old ones out. This is a must if your into BP Revolvers. You will be happier with buying this instead of all those other pieces of garbage. My only problem is that I didn't just buy it sooner. Thanks for the great tool.

The nipple wrench is really great, and the quality is beyond reproach. I have two other brands of wrenches, but they are not the same quality. They're just dust collectors. I never use them. If I'd known about Slixspring wrenches, I'd have passed the others by.

At first I was thinking “a nipple wrench for nearly three times the amount of the ones sold on Midwayusa or Muzzleloaders.com?” But this thing is solid. My 9 dollar nipple wrench I was using prior to this was looking and functioning pretty tired after just over a year of use. This product is well constructed with quality metals and feels great in my hand, something I could not say about my previous one. Give it a chance, you won’t regret it.

My traditions nipple wrench broke instantly so I ordered two of these. They work flawlessly and have not lost shape or deformed on the first nipple I tried to adjust like the traditions wrench.

After having a cheapo wrench totally deformed on a seized nipple on my 1858 Remington, I got a SliX Wrench. Worked like a charm, with the ability to apply the necessary force required. I now own two, one for the range and one for my cleaning kit.

There are many cheaper options but none better. If you want a tool that won't break or ruin your gun bite the bullet and purchase this high quality wrench. Cheap Chinese tools might look the same but lack the quality of steel or the heat treatment process that makes this tool so good.
