I couldn't get the original nipples off of a new, twice fired, Pietta 1860 Army revolver. I had a stuck ball and wanted to install Slixshot nipples. The TOTW wrench was loose and would not budge three of them. By advice from GOTW I got the Slixsprings wrench and it removed them on the first try, no gloves, vise, just bare handed.

A good tool to have and would have to say this is one of the better ones to use. Would record an upgrade.

This is the best style of nipple wrench in my opion and slix-wrench is the best of all of them. You'll never be sorry for having one of these wrenches in your kit.

High quality steel, well hardened. Loosened stuck nipples that shredded two cheap wrenchs without so much as marring the bluing on the Slix wrench. Highly recommend

After having 2 other wrench failures, I purchased the Slix wrench. It is well made and worked great.

I got tired of buying aluminum wrenches every time one bent a little out of shape and would no longer fit my pocket revolvers. This wrench is steel, and worth the price. If you don’t buy a steel wrench, you will never stop replacing wrenches.

This wrench fits *all* of my rifle and revolver nipples. It gets a firm and snug grip on every nipple and the slight taper means it easily fits even my .31 pocket. It makes full contact with my rifle nipples all the way down to my pockets.

Works perfectly. Pay more for this wrench once or pay less for aluminum wrenches that have to be replaced every time you buy a new firearm (the factories really lock them in). This wrench works better, pays for itself, and saves you money in the long run.

I have had several nipple wrenches break the tips off with stuck nipples.
So far this wrench has been un breakable.

The product was great the service was great, the shipping was not great. USPS was the shipper and they are dang slow, not on schedule, tracking from USPS was a joke!!!

This happens from time to time as I think the post office is shorthanded. In all fairness, this order was placed on June 2nd, Shipped on June 3rd and delivered on June 9th.

This is my 5th nipple wrench. Two different brands had the slotted heads shear off after one use, one has a sliding handle that makes it difficult to use, and the other is alright, but appears to be wearing at the heads and it is too short. This one works. The steel is properly hardened, it fits #10 and #11 nipples well, and the round part above the handle makes fast work of screwing and unscrewing. Alas, vivere et cognoscere (to live and to know).

good quality,higher priced than others but you will go thru 3 chinese junk wrenches before investing in a good one. this will remove most hard to remove nipples 2 thumbs up

I’m new to cap and ball revolvers and did a lot of research before purchasing. This is a fine tool for the intended job. I was torn between this and others that had a built in removable pick for cleaning the hole through the nipple and although that would be icing on the cake the primary function of this tool was my first concern and it performs that very well.
