Loading the Uberti 1849 Pocket and the 1862 Pocket Navy can be painful. The loading lever is just too short to use comfortably. The SliX Hand gives me the leverage and comfortable grip that makes loading endurable with these small pistols. It also works well with the larger Army and Navy models.

Only gave 4 stars, it could have been a tad longer for more leverage. Definitely helps in loading.

This gives very good leverage on short loading levers.

The tool fits a little funky but it will work and save the palm of my hand from being hurt.

I use this for my .44 1851 sheriff, works great for added leverage to load the ball.

when you older some times it is hard to press in the ball this solves the problem

Helped me load revolvers with a shorter loading leaver.

I think this little helper will save a lot sore hands I haven’t tried it yet but seems like great addition to my cap n ball inventory

Really aids in the loading process, makes the job simple and effective.

This thing is well built. Heavy. Sturdy. Really gives extra leverage and saves the hands.

After purchasing the SliX Hand, I realized I should have done so much sooner. This handy little device has taken the pain away from loading short barreled percussion revolvers. You can seat bullets with ease even from the smallest guns. The 1849 Pocket pistol is a breeze.

Quick service. Great product, really helped seating conicals on Ruger Old Army, especially with longer shooting sessions.

This makes it much easier for me to load my Sheriff model percussion revolver and not so hard on my hands.

A must have to ease loading.

I am Very Pleased with this Product. It is so much easier to load My Percussion Revolvers. It gives Perfect Leverage, and is easier on the hand. I have a loading press as well, but the Slix Hand is actually easier to use. I Highly Recommend the Slix Hand.

Very well made and fits several of the revolvers. Makes it easy to load.

saves your hand from short lever syndrome.

I use it on my sheriff's model 1851. Makes disassembly easy

This helps me with my BP Revolvers. I am 60 yrs old and have rheumatoid arthritis. hard time loading my revolvers but with this it makes a lot easier. Very helpful.

Needed for short loading handles such as the one on my 1860 Colt with 5 1/2" barrel.

Works great for shorter loading levers in particular.

very useful item and saves my hand from harm

Makes loading easy on all my revolvers from the Pocket Model to the 1860 Army. Takes the bite away from the loading lever end stop and adds leverage. Great addition to your shooting box.

The tool is super helpful with my Pietta Sheriff however, it requires some filing.

Out of the box it puts a lot of force on the top of the loading lever and can break the thin metal where the catch is.

I don't mind filing the SlixHand but it's annoying that the tool can break your loading arm if you're not careful.

When the tool is used as intended, it will work properly, as shown in the pictures on the product page. It is also possible that you have one of our older designs.

Well designed and makes those short handles easy. No more painful dents in your hand after loading
