I am very happy with this purchase it performed great I used it to install slixs nipples on two revolvers and had no problem breaking old nipples loose. I have used other nipple wrenches that break off due to cheap inferior steel not with this wrench it's made of a high quality steel would definitely purchase again and do recommend it to my friends

This revolver has Treso nipples. Wrench is made to highest quality and both product and service were above expectations.

I originally bought it for a shorter than normal barreled revolver but it made things so easy that I use it on all my revolvers.

By far the best wrench I've ever used for my cap and ball revolvers. It's an excellent design and it is solid enough to handle even the most enthusiastically overtightened nipples. Also, it fits both Colt and Remington style revolvers. Over the years I've gone through my share of inexpensive nipple wrenches. This one will probably outlast me. As I said, worth every penny.

this tool is made from good hard solid steel, and it cracks those tight nipples loose no problem!

This item is fantastic.
I recently purchased a Pietta 44 revolver with a "starter" pack.
It did come with a wrench which features a built in pick, but this product is far superior.
I rate it a "repeat buy" so I can have one in the range bag.

fit my Uberti 1851 navy cylinder recess and fits well on original and slixsprings nipples.

Well made, works great, use it every shot cleaning. I like the fixed T handle so you can 'spin' the nipples up/down as it is balanced. I have another wrench bought elsewhere that the cross is loose making it a slow process to install the nipples.

I have broken at least 6 various makes of nipple wrenches on new Uberti revolvers. The SliX Wrench took them right off an 1851 Navy, and I only had to use a cheater pipe on one of six.

If you have used the nipple wrenches that come with a lot of the reproductions, you know they have a lot to be desired. I'm not sure what the "metal" is in these, other than it is essentially worthless. Works fine, most of the time, if the nipple isn't stuck, but simply won't work when it is. I apply choke grease to my revolver nipples, so not a problem - unless I buy one where the previous owner was not so diligent. Enter the SliX Wrench - problem solved! Made of real steel - and it works perfectly!

I've used a few, and most of them would bend on super tight nipples. This one stays tight and square.

This is a very well made tool that's a prefect fit for the removal and installation of the SliX-shot percussion revolver cones/nipples. And also the factory supplied ones as well. I've several other similar type tools for this function. But this one really allows you to get a good grip for their removal or installation.

The form and shape fit my hand making it easier to remove the nipples. It has a good tight fit on the nipple.
