I love this wrench!! Well machined and a great fit, this wrench is a must have for cap and ball revolvers. It works beautifully and the top of the wrench is designed to easily spin the nipple off or on once its loose. Did I mention I love this wrench!!

The wrench worked great. I had a cheap one it broke first time I used it. No problem with wrench.

They work just fine with the Slixsprings and Pietta nipples. No damage to the wrench with just a little bit of abuse.

I bought nipples for a Uberti pocket 1849 Colt and also the nipple wrench. The original nipples were removed and replaced with Slixsprings in about 5 minutes. No problems. I’m in the middle of a trigger job so I’ve yet to fire it. Now if only the Eras Gone mold was in stock . . .

Another brand of wrench failed at removing 5 of the 6 factory nipples from my new 1851 Navy. The metal basically just shaved off leaving it worthless. The SliX wrench removed the other 5 in about 30 seconds total.

Was upgrading an old 3d model dragoon I acquired and remember most of the gurus on utube recommended slixshot nipples. So rather than wait for a problem I decided to eliminate the possibility. They work great. Got the wrench because of design and you can never have enough good tools.

Removing the factory nipples broke the wrench on the first try. For reference it's a newer cylinder with less then 20 shots with it.

Any tool used beyond its intended purpose or improperly can/will break. We have seen some brand new revolvers with nipples tightened so tight I swear a gorilla installed them. Our wrench will remove those over tightened nipples if used properly. The key in using the tool is to keep it square on the nipple so an even pressure is applied to both sides of the wrench when loosening. FYI: We promptly sent a replacement wrench.

Best wrench,it would be great if your team can come up with a good caper that fits the cylinder because your stuff is top shelf and made in the USA

I had 3 cylinders with stuck nipples. I constructed a homemade device that locked the cylinders and affixing a beak vise grip to the Slixshot wrench gave me the leverage to free the nipples. I cleaned the threads the reassembled the nipples to the cylinders.
I posted my results on a few BP Facebook and MeWe groups.

Unfortunately the nipples didn't fit my 1862 police but I was warned of that possibility previous to my purchase. I can use them on a another gun.

This is the best nipple wrench on the market. It fits perfect with no slipping and it is made of superior metal. I recommend this as the best wrench for you cap and ball pistols!

So far it has worked excellent, had a very stuck nipple on my walker, was able to get it out with the help of soaking the cylinder in PB Blaster overnight

Fits SliXshot nipples snugly and seems well-made and durable. Works well for what it's intended to do, but would be an even better tool if the other arms were screwdrivers of varying sizes, or maybe if one was brass-tipped to safely tap out barrel wedges on Colt-style BP guns.

I own a Pietta clone of a Navy Colt. I had a prob;em getting the nipples loose from the cylinder to clean them. The nipple wrench I had wasn't doing the job. I bought the Slix Wrench and it made short work of the stuck nipples. Great product and just right to save the day.
