nipple of my Pietta 1851 Confederate Navy .44 caliber Revolver and my Pietta Model 1858 New Army Old West .44-Caliber Revolver. I have 3 other nipple wrenches I have collected, one is generic one, and the other 2 I have are from Tradition and Connecticut Valley Arms, and none of them will fully seat over the nipples in the cylinder(s) of these guns, but Slix Wrench does great. Great product, I would buy again, and recommended it to all. Even works on my rifles.

This is the Best nipple wrench I have ever used! I even have one by a well known maker. This one is better and cost less. Works great on my Uberti Walker and Pietta 1858 Army.

I ordered both the SliX wrench and nipples for my Uberti 2nd Model Dragoon. The wrench removed the old nipples easily and installed the new SliX nipples. Wrench is well made and fits securely over the nipples when removing or installing them.

Can't seem to make it work on the ruger old army.

You are correct… this wrench will NOT work on the Ruger Old Army stock nipples. This is Clearly stated in the Description box on the product page. It will however work with our Slixshot replacement nipples for the Ruger.

This is THE BEST commercially available nipple wrench I have EVER come across!! (I've made some out of hardened-steel 1/4" drive sockets, but even THEY don't work as well as THIS does!) It is high-quality STEEL, so the corners that engage the nipple don't just BREAK OFF when you get a stubborn nipple that doesn't want to budge! NO MORE FLIMSY CHEAPO (cheapo ONLY in QUALITY, NOT price!) nipple wrenches for me!!

This is the best nipple wrench I've ever owned and I've been using them for about 50 years. Everyone should own one of these wrenches. I bought 2 sets of nipples for my Pietta 44 Remington. They are miles ahead of the stock nipples.

First time dealing with a black powder gun. Read a piece by John Taffin (Guns magazine) recommended SliX for black powder guns. Glad I bought from them. Top quality parts, prices are right! Highly recommended these folks.

This wrench does not work with San Marco Dragoon nipples. After modification, 5 nipples were removed before wrench broke.

As stated in the Description Box the wrench is designed to fit most but not all nipples. There are some older version nipples that were designed with an odd size but 99% of the time our wrench will fit and work great as stated in all the reviews we get.

Simply the best nipple/cone wrench available. I have several very good and highly recommended nipple wrenches, this is the only one I use now. If you have older, maybe arthritic hands, do yourself a favor and buy this wrench.

Very easy to use

I purchased 5 sets of Slixshot nipples to convert my revolvers. And decided the wrench looked better then any I ever used. Was I glad to have it, one cylinder had extra tight factory nipples but it was no problem removing them. Plus this wrench is an exact fit on both Slixshot and factory nipples. It didn’t fit my Second generation black box F-Series Dragoon nipples. But did fit the replacement Slixshot for this gun. Thanks for a great product.

These are much better than any of the other wrenches. They are ergonomic and tough.

This wrench is perfect. I love the t-bar style, as it makes it so easy to install and remove the nipples for cleaning.

There are so many junk nipple wrenches out there and I enjoy shooting my black powder revolvers very much so having a quality tool is wonderful. I believe this nipple wrench is the strongest available and I am just sorry it took me a long time to find it. It is the best.

Removing the factory nipples was an easy task with this wrench. I neglected to remove and clean the nipples for some time, so I was worried that they were corroded in-place and seized. Not a problem with this wrench ... and without a soak in Kroil. It is very well made and precise fit to the nipples and seems to be made of hardened tool steel.

I have recently acquired a Belgian centennial model 1960 which had 5 extremely frozen nipples. They destroyed my 2 pistol nipple wrenches. Found your site after a search for a quality wrench. While waiting for it I soaked the nipples in liquid wrench. And continued to try my wrenches. I even bought a traditions wrench at the gunshop which shredded in moments as if made of aluminium.

After receiving your wrench I applied alot of heat from a torch put drop of liquid wrench on it and applied your wrench with more effort then I think I've ever used to remove a nipple. I felt it move and thought, there goes another wrench! Took a look and it was unscathed. The nipple gave in. Continued 4 more times and all came off and the wrench looks as if I never used it. Thankyou! I'm impressed. I dont usually send out quality reports, but you guys deserve one. Thankyou!!!

Best nipple wrench ever, expensive but worth every penny. Makes installing and removing nipples very quick and easy.
