Nipples would not fit new 1862 pocket revolver; had to put them in another pistol.

We sent this customer a shorter set of nipples that should fit properly. A small percentage of these revolvers have tighter manufacturing tolerances, which can cause our standard-length cones to be slightly too tall.

They sure are pretty, but did not help with cap jams. Thanks anyway for taking my $32.00.

The issue you experienced may have been caused by using caps other than those recommended, an excessive powder charge, or a revolver that requires additional tuning. We use these nipples on our own Uberti 1862 Pocket revolver without any problems, and the many positive customer reviews reflect similar results.

Not impressed. Factory nipples worked as good. Both sets were too tall causing cylinder to drag. Had to file nipples down to clear the recoil shield when rotating cylinder. Still had cap jams but a little better

We contacted the customer and explained that if both the factory nipples and our nipples are too long, the issue is likely related to the revolver’s manufacturing tolerances rather than the nipples themselves. In the meantime, we sent him a shorter set specifically for this application. This situation is very rare, but it can occur.

The nipples are slightly longer than the originals just enough the the cylinder would not rotate, I removed them

Can’t say enough about the customer service. Patrick is beyond a stand-up guy. I ordered nipples for a Uberti Pocket Model, but they were too long. I mentioned this in a review, and before I knew it, Patrick told me shorter ones were available and sent me five to try. I haven’t tried them yet, but I hope to this week and am confident they will work. As stated before, fantastic customer support.

Uberti Pocket Police .36 cal purchased on sale from Midway. Beautiful revolver, but a POS mechanically. SliX did not improve performance. SliX purchased for ASM 51 Navy performed very well compared to OEM nips. I got the ASM in a trade. Made in 1995, never fired. Excellent, well built, accurate revolver; like my Pietta 58 Remington. Uberti SUX...ever since Beretta purchased them...

Unfortunately, I still had frequent cap jams. I’ll take a look at the main spring.

A mainspring that is too light, excessive pressure, or the wrong caps can cause this issue.

These STOP multiple cap jams on all my pocket model! Terrific. I recommend them highly

installation on some older uberti 1849's causes problems because the cap well cut out is not cut as deep as later models. this makes capping the revolver impossible due to the contour of the nipples. The nipples themselves are very well made with a nice "small" flash hole.

This can occasionally be an issue, but it is very rare.

I was having issues with the factory nipples on my Pietta Remington Pocket revolver, I no longer have ignition issues after replacing them with Slix-Shots.

Absolutely amazing and fixed 95% of cap jams the other 5% was fixed with powder charge. Thanks slix keep doing what you do.

And just like that the cap jams just stopped. Best product on the market. Couldn’t be happier.

I ordered a set of nipples for my 1862 Uberti police, and couldn’t be happier. They function just as described and help eliminate those pesky cap jam. I would recommend getting the wrench that Slixprings offers for these as well.

These are great! With the modification the caps just stay in place after they're spent. Had to file the edge off the hammer to prevent sucking and now my little pocket police cycles flawlessly.

These nipples reduce misfires dramatically. They function beautifully with number 10 or number 11 percussion caps. They don't do well with homemade caps though. I highly recommend these nipples for all black powder revolvers! Great product!

I absolutely love these on my baby dragoon and my 1863 Remington pocket revolver! Fewer misfires and more complete ignition of the chamber. I plan on putting these on all of my black powder revolvers. Excellent item!

my 62 uberti stock nipples would not fire caps. i installed these and it works like a charm.

A perfect fit. I've read of several folks concerned about properly fitting nipples for the Uberti Pocket Police. These SliXshot nipples fit, significantly reduce cap blow back and SS isn't likely to rust around the threads.

these nipples provide a better solution for "nipple problems" in this small pocket pistol.

Purchased a set of these for my Uberti "Colt Baby Dragoon". Works perfectly and really fixes the issue of "cap sucking" where the cap comes off and falls into the action. Had planned to rotate them into other cap & ball revolvers, but I like them so much I am just going to end up getting a set for every C&B revolver I own!

These fixed my new uberti’s failure to fire problems. These are tall enough so that the all your caps get busted (factory nipples were too short) with minimal jams. Great product.

They work great and solved the jamming problem caused by caps.
