Have been really pleased with the performance of these nipples. Almost completely eliminates cap jams.

My Pietta 1851 was practically unshootable with factory nipples. The slixshot nipples made it very reliable. The same story with my Pietta 1860 .

Have added these and shot from a couple different guns. They worked great

I replaced the Nipples in my 1861 (Replica) 44 cal blackpowder pistol, with these SliXShot Blackpowder Nipples, as the Caps kept sticking, I had to use a pick to remove the caps, So far these actually blow the cap off , so there's less jamming! These cones have improved nearly every nipple/cap issue I have run across.
Be certain to have adequate cap to recoil shield distance.
Having all of the different cap sizes will make a huge difference in your results when running Slixshot nipples.
My pocket model revolvers have benefitted as well with Slixshots and a heavier hammer spring.

I like using 1075's. Very few failures using slick spring bp nipples.

I took the expensive plunge by replacing the nipples on my Pietta revolvers after I discovered that some of the flash holes were smaller than others. Also my fear of corrosion has been greatly reduced.

They work great! Im fairly new to using black powder, but it is obvious that their design is superior to the factory setup. The holes are larger for ignition, and they sit lower in the threaded part of the chamber. I like them. Definitely worth the money.
