After spending lots of $$$ on different removal methods, brushes, brass screen lead removers, solutions, etc. I thought i'd give this a try. It works so well at first i thought it didn't do anything till I looked down the cylinder. I was stunned! In nothing flat it took out the coated build up and restored my cylinder to clean as a pin. Maybe some day The Boss will make one for 41 Mag/41 Spec loads. Great invention. Thank you.

Great cleaning product. For those of us who love 38/357 this is a perfect product. Cleans the carbon buildup from revolver cylinders and rifle chambers quickly and efficiently. Only improvement would be adding a little handle.

Got me a Ruger 327 and after shooting 32 SW Long, H&R 32 Mag, and 327 Fed. Mag the chamber throats got a lot of carbon build-up. SliXprings to the rescue. A couple twists in each chamber and, poof, a clean cylinder. Highly recommended.

I primarily shoot revolver in Steel Challenge matches, this is absolutely THE BEST tool in my cleaning kit hands down! No more scrubbing for hours trying to get the ring in my cylinders left behind from minor power factor reloads. This tool is an absolute timer saver!! I highly recommend this, It is very well made and looks like it can last for a very very long time.

I had previously bought one of these tools for my .357/.38 caliber revolvers and it worked like a charm. It even made short work of my Friends revolver chambers as he never cleaned his and was having trouble inserting cartridges. I've used this latest one on my .44 caliber chambers with equal success!

I have a new S&W 432UC. Chambered for 32H&R Mag. When you shoot 32 long, the carbon is nearly impossible to remove. This tool made it effortless. Worth every penny.

Works as advertised and better than using a piece of brass

These are well made and sturdy. Simple to operate. It is no substitute for a proper cleaning, but, at the range, will quickly remove enough carbon buildup to allow your mag rounds to chamber after shooting a number of ‘specials’.

This scraper is well made however, apparently the cylinders on a 454 Casull are too tight for this scraper. I could only insert the scraper 1/3 the way into the cylinders when it binded up. I usually shoot 45 long colt loads through this gun.

I purchased one for the .327 H&R Mag and as stated above it only went about halfway into the chamber of my Freedom Arms revolver. The tolerances on these revolver chambers are very strict. When Slixprings rollmarked "Slix 32" on the scraper the raised edges made the diameter to large to fit the cylinder chambers. A little file work on the scraper and all is good.

I must admit I was a little nervous at first using this on my stainless revolvers. After carefully using it, the results are perfect. Using Breakfree or another solvent certainly is a must before scraping. It makes very fast work of clearing the cylinder of .38 special residue in a .357 revolver. A+

This is my second one...the first works so well that I was persuaded to part with it to a fellow shooter, knowing I could get another! Love this product!

Excellent product(s) well worth the purchase. Used them on my 45 Colt rifle and my wife’s GP100. She shoots a lot of lead 148gr 38 Special out of her pistol. Cleaned up the chambers very well and fast. This is just one of the products I have purchased from SliXprings. Fast shipping and decent prices. As clearly stated on the product label the 45 Colt Scraper is designed for the 45 Colt Only. It would do you no good to use it on the 454 as the 45 scraper is not long enough to reach the throats of the 454 cylinder. The reason it hung up is because you have buildup in the cylinder from shooting the shorter 45 Colt rounds. What you need is our 460 Magnum Scraper which is longer and can reach the throats on the 454.

I shoot .357/.38 Special and .44mag and .44 special a lot, ant these scapers help me keep the cylinders clean so I can switch rounds easily.

I keep my guns clean anyway, and none of them had much carbon build up from shooting .38s in .357s or .44 Specials in Magnum, but if you do I think these little tools would work slick as a ribbon. I tried them in my revolvers, and they got a little crud out, but like I said, mine were clean to begin with, I just bought these for insurance.

I had buildup in my respective cylinder chambers from buildup caused by shooting .38 spl and .44 spl. The reamers worked well in removing built up carbon deposits.

Bought one in 38/357 as that is caliber that causes me most problems. This beats the devil out of using a 357 case with excess bell to get the crud out. Seems to get out over 90% of any carbon buildup in a few seconds.

I had Pacific Tool and Die make me a carbon scraper which cost three times as much because it wasn’t something they usually made. The slixpring carbon scraper works great and is small enough to use on a ‘73 with out taking it down.
