They work great! Im fairly new to using black powder, but it is obvious that their design is superior to the factory setup. The holes are larger for ignition, and they sit lower in the threaded part of the chamber. I like them. Definitely worth the money.

I replaced the nipples on some of my black powder pistols and they worked fine

They fit CCI #11 magnum caps perfectly. The nipples are hard and do not peen out of shape.

I knew the slix springs revolver nipples were the way to go. I've used them on other precussion firearms and they always perform flawlessly. I actually ordered these before I ordered my revolver. Thats how much confidence I have in these nipples. They were installed before my first trip to the range.

These made all the difference in my new Cimarron McCullough 1860 Army. Consistent ignition and very consistent results. I have a conversion cylinder as well and cannot shoot as good of groups as i can with theses in the percussion cylinder. Pop cans all day at 25 yards

Bought these for my 1851 navy and 1858 Remington, much thicker shoulder so your wrench fits on farther, I also bought the slixprings nipple wrench because the others I bought wouldn’t take out factory nipples without spreading the tip and ruining the wrench, the slixpring nipple wrench worked perfect. Would recommend and would buy again. Also quick delivery 5 days.

Folks, Slick Shot cones aka nipples are basically SOP for any B/P pistol shooter anywhere.
The company really should attempt to partner with Uberti , Pietta and Pedersolli to have these item as standard equipment with each pistol produced.

Stainless with larger chamber definitely a plus for high use black powder competition . Less fouling buildup in nipples and No nipple jams in hammer recess is a match necessity .

Makes it easy to get caps. Not restricted to #10. Considering CCI #10 are to tight. Then it can be hard to find Remington #10. It also Reduces cap blow black. Noticed it right off the bat.

Great replacement for the stock nipples. I have them on both my piettas navy and army. Perfect fit and work way better then the stock ones. Very happy with their performance.

I have these nipples on my 1860 Army Uberti revolver, they worked so good I bought another set for my wife’s 1869 Army Uberti revolver. They also work great, I recommend them to everyone.
If they could find some other way to ship them besides USPS every thing would be perfect.

I have replaced all the stock nipples in my cap and ball revolvers. Have had great success following slick springs recommendations. 1075's are my go to caps.

When I get a new cap and ball pistol I order a set of SliXshot BP nipples as a matter of course. I've learned from experience that the SliXshot BP nipples will not fail or cause jams the way the manufacturer's will.

I have been using these on a pietta copy of a remington new model army. When compared to the factory nipples, they they tightened the group up at 75 feet from about 6 inches to 3 inches, they split the caps and they fall out better than the factory nipples. I also noticed that they did shift the point of impact at seventy five feet up about two inches and to the left about an inch.
