I have two excellent Pietta 1858 Remingtons' with long and short barrels and five cylinders between them. All five have your nipples and they make shooting so much more enjoyable and reliable. My notes tell me that I recently fired 754 rounds without a problem. The next cap did not have a charge in it. I have a photo of a cylinder with all six fired caps still in place.I have shot black powder for fifty years and I now trust these revolvers in the woods as I would a cartridge sidearm. Thank you.

If you've got a Colt pattern revolver, just get these. I've had them a few days, fired dozens of rounds, and haven't had one misfire or cap jam in at all.

My Pietta revolvers have become much more reliable. I actually conceal carry an 1858 Sheriffs Model. I really like my wheel guns. I live and maintain a farm with sheep so my Pietta goes everywhere with me. I’ll be sure to run Slix in all my cap and ball guns.

Purchased these for uberti 1860 army and they work fantastic. These are superior to factory.

Greater than 95%. Excellent product. Seems to work best with #11 regular Remington percussion caps. Unfortunately about all you can get are magnum caps anymore if you can find any at all!

I'm just getting a good start in the world of black powder revolvers so my opinion of good bad or in-between isn't worth much. What I can add is that the Ubirti nipples for my 1860 colt 44 also fit my Armi San Marco 1858 Remington new model army.

I thought the standard uberti nipples were nice. I got a set of slixsprings slixshot nipples for my 1858 replica and my percussion caps fit sooo much better. I've also had less cap jams too!

I learned about the SlixShot Nipples from Blackie Thomas ,You Tube Woods Craft and black powder enthusiast go to expert.
My 1860 Army was jamming up continuously, at least every other shot.
The Slix Shot Nipples gas vents cause the fired caps to mostly split into a flat cross shape and then neatly fall out of the breech face along the cap discard channel as designed. If they should get wedged between cylinder and breech face, flattened, they may drag a bit, but, not jam, then just fall out on rotation of the cylinder. They took my enjoyment for shooting my pistol up 10 levels.

Like many I read online reviews and opinions as much as the next guy. The word about SliXshot nipples is very good, but they exceeded my expectations in terms of both form and function. And now I'm ready to order another set!

I have heard good things about the slixshot blackpowdernipples for the Pietta revolvers but have not recieved mine yet as they are on backorder. No doubt I will be pleased with them when they arrive.

I needed some new nipples for my old ASM 1851 Navy replica. The ASM isn't listed but I'd heard the Uberti nipples would work. They do fit nicely. I haven't had the chance to fire them in a loaded cylinder, but I did fire off one CCI #11 cap. The cap fit well and fired off no problem. I'm happy.

I put them on my 2020 Uberti Mod 1849 Colt Pocket Revolver. The factory cones were sucking caps really bad and these replacement cones put an end to the cap sucking. I made a YouTube video showing the results.

After shooting a friends black powder pistol with these new nipples on it I was hooked right away. If your tired of the caps hanging up in the action you need these caps. For me it was a wise investment that actually works. I put them on the two Uberti pistols I own. A 1860 Navy and a 1860 Army I'm happy I did
