These nipples not only look good they perform great!

If you truly want the most out of your Uberti Remington 1858 range sessions, you need these nipples. The OEM nipples require you either to jam on #10 percussion caps, which are too small, or to crimp #11 caps, which are too big. CCI #11 caps seat perfectly on the Slixsprings caps, and the stainless construction makes them easier to clean in general, while the wider opening makes the interior easier to reach for cleaning. I like these so much that I'm going to get two more sets for my extra cylinders.

These cones are simply the best on the market, keep them clean and you will have reliable shots EVERY time and with ZERO cap jams, I dare say with Slixshot your C&B revolver is just as reliable as a center fire revolver, they work great with both RWS 1075 and CCI #11 caps and also with homemade Tap o cap #11s. I fully intend to outfit the rest of my revolvers with Slixshot as money and time allows, I would not trust any other brand!! On top of all that true shipping and service is impeccable!! Although happy with the purchase, I wasn't as impressed as I thought I'd be. I've used them for just over 100 rounds so far.

They do help with the cap jam problem where the cap gets stuck in the hammer and then drops down. The jam problem may not completely go away since smaller flattened pieces of the cap can still fall into the internals when the cylinder rotates. This did happen to me once.

They are well made and uniform in size, which also takes care of the problem where some of the original revolver nipples are smaller or larger than the rest. I also like that they're made of stainless steel.

My only problem is that they don't seem as tapered as the original nipples which makes them a little harder to cap when using a capper.

Bought two sets for pietta "Gunnison and Griswold" reb confederate revolvers, and I went from 2+ cap jams every cylinder to ZERO. Reliable ignition, perfect fit for CCI #11 caps where the pietta caps shape and tooling caused misfires. If you have a black powder revolver, get these and don't look back.

I bought these to replace the nipples in my pair of Uberti Walkers. these fit perfect. and the caps fit very snug as they should. Well worth it.

These nipples work great. I have them on my 1858 Rem and my 1860 army. Fine product.

The engineering really enhances these nipples. I have found these to be far superior then others I have tried.

Just like the slix wrench, I purchased these slixshot nipples because I was impressed by Dustin Winegar's (Guns of the west) review on Youtube.

The gun that I purchased them for is the Uberti Walker. As with most Colt style revolvers, I was constantly having cap jam issues. Installing the slixshots made a huge difference. I no longer had to tilt the gun sideways while cocking to keep spent caps from falling into the action. The spent caps actually stayed put and fell out of the right side of the cylinder as originally intended by Colt when he designed the revolver. It functions flawlessly 99% of the time with just an occasional cap jam every once in a while.

The slixshot nipples are definitely a very good design and I am very happy with them.

I have two excellent Pietta 1858 Remingtons' with long and short barrels and five cylinders between them. All five have your nipples and they make shooting so much more enjoyable and reliable. My notes tell me that I recently fired 754 rounds without a problem. The next cap did not have a charge in it. I have a photo of a cylinder with all six fired caps still in place.I have shot black powder for fifty years and I now trust these revolvers in the woods as I would a cartridge sidearm. Thank you.

Quality product with BP users in mind. Well designed, great fit. Stainless design eliminates the worries of corrosion. Using Pyrodex FS I don't worry about fouling.

If you've got a Colt pattern revolver, just get these. I've had them a few days, fired dozens of rounds, and haven't had one misfire or cap jam in at all.

My Pietta revolvers have become much more reliable. I actually conceal carry an 1858 Sheriffs Model. I really like my wheel guns. I live and maintain a farm with sheep so my Pietta goes everywhere with me. I’ll be sure to run Slix in all my cap and ball guns.

Greater than 95%. Excellent product. Seems to work best with #11 regular Remington percussion caps. Unfortunately about all you can get are magnum caps anymore if you can find any at all!

I'm just getting a good start in the world of black powder revolvers so my opinion of good bad or in-between isn't worth much. What I can add is that the Ubirti nipples for my 1860 colt 44 also fit my Armi San Marco 1858 Remington new model army.
