What a difference in the performance of my Uberti 1860. These nipples make shooting cap and ball much more enjoyable. Thank you for a great product!

Just used the Slixshot Black Powder Nipples on my 1851 Navy 44 cal with brass frame. Not one jammed cap. easy to install and clean after use. Great improvement from the original set. thanks. So much less frustrating to use.

I have recently purchased a set of the Slixsprings stainless percussion nipples for my 1860 Colt Army and my 1860 colt snubby, and what a difference they have made! Surfire ignition, a huge reduction in cap jams and increased reliability from my weapons, not to mention just all around better quality than the factory originals! I have just picked up a Colt Dragoon, so you can bet i will be placing another order very soon for a set of Slixsprings nipples for this revolver as well! I cannot stress how important it is to make this purchase and put a set of these into your revolver.......they have changed my weapons from fun guns with "hit and miss" reliability into weapons i would not be afraid to use to defend myself if need be......give them a try, bet you wont be disappointed!

Best upgrade for the money

I rated these nipples a 5 because no higher rating was available. The difference in the Slixshot nipples and factory nipples are unbelievable. No cap jams. No misfires. No hangups. I now replace nipples on a new gun before firing the first shot. Pietta and Uberti should just place these nipples on their guns straight from the factory. They are that good and more!

Bought this because finding #10 caps just wasn't happening at the time they work great with #11 caps I couldn't be more pleased with this product

A piece of flash still get wedged behind the barrel causing the mechanism to bind but it is a definite improvement overstock.
It blows a hole in the back of my homemmade soda can caps but I've been considering double thickness anyway.

These slixshot nipples work great on my pietta Remington New Model Army. Number 10 Remington caps fit them perfectly and so do number 11 caps I make with my tap-o-cap punch set. I’m planning on getting a set for my uberti Colt 1st Model Dragoon.

Cones installed fine and work perfectly

I really love these cones. They're a great 'helper' to prevent cap jams. Though slightly higher on a 1851 Colt by Pietta, they work as intended. Great product! Will buy them again with my next BP purchase.

I recently purchased a set of black powder nipples for a Uberti 1847 walker and when I received them the threads on one of the nipples was marred up where it wouldn't thread into the cylinder. Had to take to a gun smith to correct the issues before threading into the cylinder. Less than pleased with this purchase.

All you had to do was contact us and we would have sent you a replacement. One bad thread out of 2+ million nipples. We didn’t even get to make it right and we get a 1 star review? Being new to black powder I needed a nipple wrench.The Slix wrench got great reviews so I ordered one and it works great on my factory nipples.Decided to order new nipples and was very happy with the improvement over the factory ones.I had a small issue with one nipple and sent a message about it and the company responded right away with some helpful advice.I could not resolve the problem, told them and they sent me a replacement with out me even asking. The new one came and now I have six great SS nipples that work way better then any factory ones.Thank you for displaying proactive customer service! A rare thing indeed now days.

These worked well with CCI #11's and RWS 1075's no more loose caps and cap jams are rare now.

Just ordered a Wrench and another set of nipples for another revolver with the same type of problems mentioned above.

These are great nipples, I have them on four revolvers. They are reliable and I think they resist fouling better than the stock or even treso nipples.

I bought these on the recommendation of someone and they are much better that the nipples that came with my 1858 Remington from Pietta. I still cannot get #11 caps to work well with them but I believe I need a better way to crimp them on to the nipples. The ignition is better with them as well.

Keep in mind that Remington #11’s will NOT work well but CCI #11’s do. Remington #11's are too short and won't stay on the nipple. Some very old CCI #11’s may have problems also.

Original nipples wouldnt hold the caps. These have solved that issue!

These are matched in quality, fit perfectly and function.

I'm using these on a Uberti NMA, they replaced a set of another brand of (bronze) nipples. The others were a tight fit with the caps i'm using and had misfires, and when they went off with a second hit I often had a jam or two per cylinder.

These Slix nipples have fixed both problems. Cap jams, none yet. And they work well with the percussion caps I can find right now which are CCI #11s and RWS 1075's. 5 stars here.

functioned as advertized. No cap jams. Nothing wrong with product far as I am concerned. The only problem I have run into is finding a capper that will accept no. 10 Remington caps which work excellent on the slixshot nipples.

We use the Ted Cash Snail Capper and it works just fine.

Nipples installed nicely. They seem to work well. It seemed like they wanted #11 caps instead of the #10's.
I did not have the usual problems with caps jamming the revolver as they actually stayed on the nipples. Also easy to get off when reloading.

If anyone is interested the Pietta nipples fit on an older "EuroArms" colt army replica.
