Was having all kinds of problems with my uberti 1860 colt. Multiple hammer strikes to detonate caps. Failure to set off chamber, hammer getting blown back to half-cock.caps going into action and hammer getting stuck in down position from excessive fowling. These slix shot nipples fixed all my problems. Great product.

I finally found a SS .44 Uberti, which is what I was looking for, new of course. Now I needed to find everything to make it go BANG. I had to drive 150 miles to get the .454 balls. I ordered the powder from Midway. But I could not find any caps. I happened in to a local pawn shop and they had 200 #11 caps so I bought them. My weapon had # 10 nipples in it, so I ordered some #11 nipples in brass. They did not work as advertised and the caps were loose. I then ordered the SS nipples from SliXprings. I installed them in the weapon and they worked perfect. I took the weapon to the gun range and it worked flawlessly.

I bought these for my Uberti 1851 and 1861 Navys in .36. I use Remington no10 nipples, and these are so much better. I have had zero misfires since installing them. they stay cleaner too. The fit of the cap to the nipple is perfect. I am totally pleased!

I installed them on my primary cylinder on each of two Pietta Remington NMA. Two cyl. I installed some AMPCO cones and 2 cyl I installed SS Pietta cones I will be trying all 3 types. I am sure the slix are highly rated especially to Colt type replicas. The Slix wrench was very good and appears to be superior quality.

I put these nipples on my Ruger Old army cap and balls and they worked with out any problems, they fired every time and had No jams from the cap falling down between the frame and the hammer .

For your Uberti cap and ball revolvers. I have ordered multiple sets for my walkers and most recently for my 1860 Army. They help to eliminate cap jams and provide better powder ignition in my opinion. I will definitely be ordering again as I acquire more revolvers.

Love these cones for my two Remington New Model Army/1858 Uberti replicas. MUCH better ignition and cap-shedding than with the standard cones. Use Remington #10 caps (When you can find them) and your ignition problems will be over. I Also have a Slixhand which greatly eases loading. Thanks !

Trying to find #10 caps is impossible. I had lots of cheap Winchester Magnum #11's but they would not fit my revolvers. Bought the Slix nipples and they fit tight now. I still use some tubing cut into washers to waterproof the nipples, but do not need it to hold them on anymore.

As always theses are the best nipples I have ever used. I own 4 Uberti revolvers and now all are equiped with Slix-Shot nipples.

Every time I buy a new Black Powder Revolver the very first thing I do is replace the nipples with a set of your fine stainless steel nipples

I get ignition every time now. Also, my actions are no longer ‘eating’ percussion caps.
