To start with, I ordered the wrong nipples. I contacted them, sent them back and they sent the correct ones. They made my goof up easily fixed. The quality of the nipples and the outstanding customer support have made me a lifetime customer.

I bought slixshot nipples for my 1860 Army Pietta and also my Remington 1858 Pietta and they do exactly as advertized. Would recommend these to anyone. Thanks, R Davis

They work great on my pietta 1851 navy!

I shoot 3 different Pietta .36 Navies and had always used Rem #10 caps. Figure CCI flavor will be more common in the future so time to adapt. I can use Rem #10, CCI #11, and RWS1075 successfully on SliXshot replacement nipples without pinching or other such messing around. Have not tried Winchester brand yet. CCI #10 don't fit.

these nipples fit an Uberti 1851 navy .36 cal perfectly. they held the caps (CCI 11 and REM 11) snug and so far I haven't had one drop into the action. they usually start peeling out or falling by the time they are 2/3 to 3/4 around.

Easy installation, no stuck spent percussion caps. A friend of mine recommended these for my Old Army, and I am glad he did.

I am in the process of outfitting all my revolvers with Slixshot Cones, only a few more to go... for now. When compared to the factory cones that come with both Pietta and Uberti revolvers Slixshot is a superior product and well worth the cost. You get a reliable shot every time, cap sucking and cap jams are eliminated 99% of the time and they work well with basically all readily available caps, in particular RWS 1075 and CCI #11. I have found that the CCI #11’s are almost unbearably unreliable with factory cones but work perfectly with Slixshot! So do yourself a favor and support this veteran owned company and you will have a revolver that is as reliable as any centerfire!!

Nipples work good, no more jams.

In my opinion, these are by far the best cones/nipples that you can buy. They will help to improve the reliable functioning of a black powder percussion revolver. I now make it a habit to always replace the factory cones/nipples on every percussion revolver that I purchase. With the appropriate set that fit the manufactures revolver.

I have SliXshot nipples on my ROA, two Pietta 1860s, one Uberti 1858 and one Uberti 1860. Works great on all revolvers with no misfires or cap jams.

Number 11 CCI caps fit well without needing to pinch them. I no longer have cap jams on my 1860 Army revolver. Fired caps seem to have a shape that does not cause jams.
