These replacement nipples are great and I use them on all of my cap and ball revolvers as replacement for the small stock nipples. I remain very happy with both their durability and performance. Highly recommended for the shooter who wants to get all they can from their BP revolvers.

They work great with #11 caps. I had problems with the factory originals. Now my ROA shoots great with the SliXshot nipples

My new Pietta 1858 Remington replica functioned flawlessly with these nipples. Out of ~90ish consecutive rounds using Remington #10 caps, Hornady .454 round balls, lube or wads, and powder charges ranging from ~20 grains of Pyrodex P to ~35 of Triple Se7en FFFg (a load not to be repeated!), not one cap jammed or failed to fire using the SliXshot nipples. I ordered another set for the spare cylinder!

These stainless steel nipples are the best I have ever used. Reliable ignition every time and nearly no cap jams...great product!

The nipples fit #10 caps perfectly, however #10 caps are impossible to find now. #11 caps still cause cap jams. I believe the jams will cease as #10 caps become available.

CCI #11 and Winchester #11 caps work perfectly fine unless you are using some old version of them.

These nipples stopped the cap jams I was getting. I'll put them on my next BP no matter what ever it is.

I am 100 percent satisfied with the slixs black powder nipples they worked fantastic with my pietta 1851 navy revolver I shot about 40 rounds without a jam or problem of any kind. Every cap and ball revolver I purchase will automatically get a set of slixprings nipples before they are fired for the first time!

My Uberti reproduction Colt Dragoon shipped with nipples too large for #11 caps (CCi or Remington). Seeing that caps are almost impossible to find right now (let alone #12 size), I just bought these nipples and now #11 “magnum” caps work like a charm.

Perfect fit matches factory threads. I always replace factory nipples with SlixShot and I never have a problems with poor cap fit or ignition.

The Slixshot black powder revolver nipples solved the issue of percussion fragments jamming the action of my Pietta 1860.

I cannot recommend these nipples enough. They fit CCI #11 or #11Mag perfectly, which are plentiful in my local shops even during a shortage. They consistently fire better, foul less, and are easier to clean. Get a wrench from Slix while you are at it, the quality of Slix products is far superior to anything you will find from the mass market brands.

Excellent Product. I have replaced the original nipples of both of my Uberti cap & ball pistols, & would do it again.

They work dandy. The factory nipples Pietta and Umberti use seem both under-sized and do not deliver a consistent flash. These though, work every time. My compliments to Slixprings These just WORK

I have four black powder pistols and each one has a spare cylinder. I use SliXshot nipples on all of them. While rather pricey, they are far superior to the stock nipples in regards to having to deal with cap jams. Especially essential for the Colt replicas in my opinion.

I am returning to black powder after a 30-year hiatus, and discovered this product through online discussion forums (I wish we had these 30 years ago). I bought them to tune-up some Piettas I bought before shooting them. No misfires yet, and they work with #11caps which is all I can find. I’ll buy more for my extra cylinders soon.
