After 50 rounds not one cap jam or misfire. A high quality product that provides an elegant solution for a known problem.

Purchased for a new 1862 Police Model. As always, the nipples are flawless and fit perfect. Was experiencing cap sucking at a rate of 2 to 4 times per cylinder. Now reduced to 1 or 2 per 50 rounds fired. I’ll take that all day long when compared to the problem with the stock nipples. Great product, fantastic service and shipping.

My Uberti 1849 Pocket .31 was by far my most unreliable cap and ball revolver. Each cylinder had at least 2 failures to fire with the factory nipples - and when it did fire, cap jams were a near constant issue. Slixprings nipples have changed that completely - my Pocket .31 is now as reliable as my other Remington and Colt repros that have the Slix nipples installed. A 100% improvement in reliability.

These nipples fit my uberti pocket pistols perfectly. I haven't tried them yet but I have a set on my 1851 navy and they do a great job helping prevent cap jams. I couldn't be more pleased with them.

The Slixshot nipples corrected the problem of caps blown back under the hammer.

I have purchased three sets for my different revolvers. Better quality than those that came with the revolvers. They help with the "cap sucking" issue on the Colt repros. I also like that they are stainless steel which eliminates the worry about potential rusting after washing. The thing that really makes me happy about these nipples is that they accept Remington #10, CCI # 11 and RWS 1075 caps, because these days you have to settle for any percussion caps you can find. I've tried all of these caps and they fit snug.

They also fit 1862 Police and Navy; which make good trail guns. Carry one every day.

Excellent product. The first step in curing the problem with fired percussion caps coming off and falling in the action on this pistol. I was able to fire 5 rounds without stopping to remove a fired cap from the action. After some research I still plan to install a stronger hammer/main spring.

That little hole in the nipple makes a big difference, no more caps falling off.

After installing the SlixShot nipples on my black powder pistols the reliability increased 100 percent. Caps don't fall into the action any more. Haven't had a cap fall off or foul. They really do work as advertised. Great product!

These nipples made my 1862 pocket navy work like a champ. No cap jams and no other issues, just consistent firing every time.

Uberti Pocket Police .36 cal purchased on sale from Midway. Beautiful revolver, but a POS mechanically. SliX did not improve performance. SliX purchased for ASM 51 Navy performed very well compared to OEM nips. I got the ASM in a trade. Made in 1995, never fired. Excellent, well built, accurate revolver; like my Pietta 58 Remington. Uberti SUX...ever since Beretta purchased them...

Just love this product have them on all 10 of my Revolver's.

Slixshot are slightly longer than stock. This may cause the action to jam. May not. Depends on pistol. They are easy to modify if necessary.

Some older Uberti pocket revolvers require slightly shorter nipples. If that is the case with your revolver, we can exchange them for the shorter version.

Uberti 1862 pocket police replica, a good gun but the caps always fall off no matter what I used. One properly sized set from Slix Shot and no problem any more.

Just took my Uberti 1849 pocket model out with the new SliXshot nipples today and i have to say that they are a great improvement over the factory nipples. The 49 is known for cap jams and these cured 50% of the problem. I still need to install a stronger main spring to cure the rest of the problem but the SliXshots helped for sure.

Very happy will buy again

As with most Colts my 1849 pocket Wells Fargo model was having trouble with spent caps jamming up the works. Installed a set of slixshot nipples and like magic the little gun ran like a modern cartridge gun after a little over 100 rounds things started hanging up again, but I think it was due to needing a cleaning than anything. Couldn’t be more pleased with the Slixshot nipples

Nipples would not fit new 1862 pocket revolver; had to put them in another pistol.

We sent this customer a shorter set of nipples that should fit properly. A small percentage of these revolvers have tighter manufacturing tolerances, which can cause our standard-length cones to be slightly too tall.

These work great on my revolver. They help reduced cap jams and caps fit better.

Replaced original cones on a Uberti 1862 Navy. installation was easy especially with Slixshot nipple wrench. Used paper cartridges and #11 caps a n d gad perfect ignition throughput my range session of 36 rounds. Great and reliable product.
