First time using these revolver nipples, they are high quality and fit perfectly for my Uberti.
Can’t wait to get more for my other revolvers!!

We have ordered and placed the slixshot nipples in our reproduction black powder colt navy, Remington navy n army, Roger n Spencer revolvers. They have improved the reliability and reduced the broken cap Jams in all the revolvers. They make a positive difference. Worth the investment.

Smaller nozzle size option would help prevent cap frags and 4f
seepage. Also it would help against cap/hammer blowback, particularly with light spring/hammers found with pocket pistols.

I was having trouble with my Pietta 1860’s. They were not reliable at all. After I bought the Slix Shots they were 100%. Definitely worth the money. Also buy their nipple wrench, it is the best out there.

Got a set of these for my Pietta Lemat. They work well and are good quality.

I bought the Slixsprings nipples to reduce cap sucking, increase ignition reliability, and address the Remington #10 percussion cap shortage. All three issues satisfied by these nipples. With Remington #10 caps not available to me, I was forced to buy CCI’s. My stock nipples (Uberti and Piettas), a CCI #11 falls off and a CCI #10 doesn’t seat all the way, resulting in many non ignition events. With the Slixsprings and CCI #11s, I get a solid bang each time I pull the trigger and not near as many cap sucking incidents. I prefer Remington caps but since I can’t find them, this has allowed me to continue enjoying my revolvers.

I have a cap and ball revolver with no manufacturer's markings on it, and with a couple measurements Patrick was able to figure out which nipples would fit it. They fit perfectly and I'm extremely pleased with the performance.

Heading says it all. Cap jams and cap sucking is virtually eliminated with these nipples. I routinely tune my revolvers for function and reliability. I don’t remember the last time I had a cap jam. Never had one with these nipples. I shot a clean 10 stage two day match with these. Get them and you won’t regret it.

The online order form was easy even for an old timer like myself, and thats not always the case. It only took a couple days to get my package. I’m very satisfied

Black powder revolver builders should give potential buyers the option of having the slixpring nipples installed on new revolvers instead of the junk they install at the factory. I have replaced factory nipples with slixprings in several of my new purchases.

Bought these for my Pietta 1858 Remington and 1860 Colt revolvers. They fit perfectly in the cylinders and #11 caps fit nice and snug and stay on. Had no problems or misfires at the range. Very happy.

My 60 year old Navy Arms Remington and the SS SliXshot nipples fit correctly. Looking forward to the next N-SSA season. I may order another set for my back-up pistol. Customer service gets my "pat on the back." Speedy shipping, too, earns 5 stars.

These work great. Prior to these I had cap jams and the stock nipples were a problem when I wanted to use CCI # 11 magnum caps . Now they fit snug and have no problems igniting pyrodex. I rarely get a cap jam.even then it clears easily

I've used Slix on a couple of .44 cal cap and ball revolvers and they are lightyears better than the stock nipples that come on the Pietta reproductions. Far fewer cap jams, consistent ignition, and a nice tight fit with #11 CCI caps. Easy to clean and corrosion resistant as long as you are diligent about cleaning after shooting. One of my guns has 400+ rounds through it and the nipples show no sign of mushrooming or other wear. I'll always put Slix on my cap guns.

The nipples worked great in my 1851 Navy using #11 caps, no issues at all, I highly recommend.

i ordered these a short while ago. i had an issue, and like an a$$ wrote a poor review rather than reaching out to the company for advice.
i received an email from the owner himself, stating he would send a different set of nipples, and offered advice on what i also needed to do.
i have to admit, ( albeit in shame ) that this company steps up!! i want to extend my gratitude, and sincere apology.

Im a old cap and baller from many many days ago.
These guns have improved several times over the years.
The guns coming out today are the best I have ever seen.
But the nipples have always been a issue with them all.
Over the years there have been many different manufacturers making replacement nipples.
Some have worked better then others.
But None of them have worked like these slix shot nipples.
They are the best nipples in the game today.
I have bought several set.
Actually many sets over the last few years.
IMHO , This is the best upgrade and the first thing you need to do to your cap gun.
You will resolve a lot of your cap gun issues right off the bat with Slix Shot Nipples!
