Was upgrading an old 3d model dragoon I acquired and remember most of the gurus on utube recommended slixshot nipples. So rather than wait for a problem I decided to eliminate the possibility. They work great. Got the wrench because of design and you can never have enough good tools.

If you want to shoot cap n ball pistols you will need these. And cap n ball w/ blackpowder is the most fun your gonna have shooting. If you are having issues it's not going to be fun. So these are the best and will solve most of your issues. When people see me shoot in competition they can't believe it. Then they want to see my nipples :)

Work great , no spent cap jams at all. Less problems , much more shooting.

I bought a 1851 Pietta revolver. It was practically unshootable due to caps falling from the nipples and jamming the action. I replaced the nipples with new ones from Slixsprings and it completely solved the problem.Great product.

I couldn't ask for faster shipping and a better product. Accepts my 1858 new Army Remington perfectly.

These revolver nipples are the cat's meow! I think they channel every bit of fire and heat down to the powder charge, seems to cut a bit off detonation time, but I really have no way to measure.
Be sure to use some preventative lube so you can take them out easily.

Every cap and ball revolver I own has these nipples. Great product!

Nipples are a lot better than the factory ones maybe it me but the cap either gets jamed after firing shooting a revolver is new to me so just learning other than that I would give them a 5.

Original nipples rusted on first cleaning. No cap jams ever with these.

Once I replaced the factory uberti nipples with the ported stainless nipples I had far fewer jams with cylinder rotation. I still get occasional pieces that fall down into space in front of hammer... but the percussion caps (CCI #11 mag) split apart and fall out cleanly most of the time. CAPS are still a bit loose, but I am not experiencing the misfires from seating the CCIs on the Uberti nipples. Highly recommend. Have purchased a set for my Uberti Remmington .44 but have not yet had a chance to try. The higher shoulders on the new stainless nipples make removal and replacement 100x easier

Incredible response time and a great product

Have installed these on Two Colt 1860 Army Wheelguns. One repro by Uberti and one on Pietta repro. Completely resolved percussion cap jams. GREATLY Improved the Black Powder shooting experience. I highly recommend fitting these to your cap and ball revolvers.

I saw these on duelist1954 YouTube channel and I’ve put them on all my revolvers. Well worth the price.
