Arrived quickly , work great, 1858 new model is very reliable as a result of slix, do recommend!

These nipples not only fit various caps better, the side vent holes make the caps flare out in way that causes them to be ejected without jamming the action up most of the time.
With my originals, I could rarely get through 6 shots without a problem. So far, I have been through several 6 shot reloads with no problems as long as I pull the hammer back briskly every time.

Both my Ubrrti 1851 Navy and Pietta 1860 revolvers had reliability problems when new

The nippels work great. Ive use them in 3 differant revolvers...i just replace stock nipples right from the start now days....wish you guys would make percussion cap die. I have one that is comercialy avalable but it produces a pretty rough product...bet you guys could make a hell of a lot better one.

Does a good job. Caps fit and stay in place much better than on the factory nipples with less misfires and cap jams. Using them on my 1861 Navy and just got a set for my Colt Walker.

I love cap and ball revolvers. I love them more when they work well. Most of the reproduction guns we get today are very very good, but have a few areas for improvement can be made. The stock nipples are a week spot performance wise. These nipples from slix are a real improvement and are exceedingly high quality. They are worth the price for the improved joy of handling they provide.

I ordered these nipples for my uberti walker and uberti 1858 Remington. The reliability was outstanding. I would highly recommend this product to anybody interested in shooting cap and ball without having to worry about cap jams. Had a bit of an issue with new production peitta 1860 half flutted cylinder. Sent me a shorter set of slixshot nipples directly. In this current climate feels good to get taken care of by a company that gives a _hit!!

I needed advice on fitting SliXshot nipples on my 30 year old Armi San Marco Remington New Model Army black powder revolver. Patrick told me that the A.S.M. revolvers usually use the Uberti nipples. I ordered them and they fit perfectly! I also have SliXshot nipples on my Uberti Colt Walker and they significantly reduce cap jams. Thanks for your great advice and an excellent product!

I have your nipples on all 5 of my percussion revolvers. Two Pietta’s, two Uberti’s, and my Ruger Old Army. What I like most is now they all take CCI #11 or Remington #10 caps. With percussion so hard to find it nice to have one nipple size that fits one cap, done! As far as avoiding cap splitting or dropping into the action, it helps a bit, but that’s just the joys of black powder. The nipple wrench is amazing! Super high quality and will not strip even with old rusted cylinders! If anything the nipple wrench is a must have but I recommend everything from these guys! A+

I purchased a set of slixshot tubes for my Uberti made Walker, and the difference in reliability is incredible. With the factory tubes I would have several cap jams per day. With these improved tubes I have fired hundreds of rounds with no cap jams and no misfires. These have changed my revolver from a cantankerous curiosity to a reliable tool.

I installed a set of SliXshot nipples on my .36 Griswold & Gunnison and couldn't be happier. Easy install and perfect fit, caps fit snug, no cap jams. Every cap and ball revolver should have them!

After screwing around with so many products that don't work, thank God I found your super percussion nipples. Also now with it being so hard to get #10 caps.they allow me to use the #11 I use on my rifles. Thanks Much Joe

Ordered a set of SliXshot nipples and received them quickly. Solved cap jam problem in my Pietta 1860.

I'm very happy with my purchases of the slickshot nipples and helping hand work great! The slickshot nipples were a perfect fit for my pieta 1851 Sheriff's 5 1/2 inch model and 1858 Sheriff's 5 1/2 inch. I used a cheap nipple wrench with no problem but plan to buy slickshot nipple wrench. I highly recommend these products . Sincerely William Horsley

Installation was a snap. My number 11 CCI caps fit snugly and won't dislodge even under violent shaking. I tried to jiggle them loose but they kept on keeping on.

Bought a new Walker for Xmas and as expected, I averaged 1 misfire every 6-rounds. Lots of googling and the Slixprings Nipples kept coming up as recommended first upgrade, which I did. This past weekend, ran 18 rounds through "Smokey" and no misfires. Additionally, the percussion caps more cleanly left the nipples after firing. Very pleased...

Work reliably in my 1860. No improvement on my 1851/44 cal. Caps still jam the cylinder and/or hammer.
