Well thought out design. They do reduce the hammer blow back or bounce with the pressure port hole in the side, so the hammer does not tend to pull the expended caps off the nipples as there is little bounce back if any. The interior of the nipple does seem to Focus the flame down to the powder.

I have a pair of Uberti 1860 Colt Army replicas that were having terrible cap jam issues. I replaced the nipples with your SlixShots and fired 48 straight shots with no cleaning or wiping and Bingo! No problems.

These nipples are the best thing that ever happened for BP revolvers. They work well with #11 caps which are the size mostly found around the country. No problems with caps getting stuck in the action either. As the cylinder rotates, these slide off with no issues.

I was experiencing multiple cap jams when using my Pietta 1851 revolver, several in every cylinder that was shot. The Slikshot nipples greatly reduced the jams to about 3-4 in 36 rounds fired which is quite an improvement! I also no longer have to pinch the Winchester 11 caps to get them to properly seat.

These make any black powder revolver more reliable...I have bought multiple sets of these for mine.

Maybe these are good for black poweder? I tried them on 2 piettas with 777 and pyrodex. Weaker ignition and 50/50 delayed firing on every cylinder. Stock nipples are much better for what I'm doing. They're well made.

Tons of our customers including Competition Cowboy Action Shooters use BP Substitutes like Pyrodex with amazing results. We also use sub’s with no issues. This is the first we have heard of this so I think it’s something you’re doing or not doing in your loading technique.

This is the fourth set of nipples I've purchased as expected they performed excellent on my Remington new model army all my percussion revolvers are equipped with slixspring nipples a must for all revolvers

They look and fit really good on my revolver just I can’t find any powder or ammo anymore.

First thing I do when acquiring a new cap - n - ball revolver is to replace the nipples with SlixSprings nipples. Love them and a great reliability upgrade.

I had no problems installing them in my 1851 navy (I also have the slix wrench)but they worked very well had some cap fragments issues but way way less then the factory nipples. I’d recommend them!

# 11 and 1075 caps fit very well on these nipples. No worries about them falling off. On both my Walker and 1858 Remington the sides of the cap split out when fired and will generally fall off as the cylinder is rotated. Seems to deliver good fire to the chambers.

Great product with fast shipping. These nipples work so much better then the stock nipples on my 1851 US Marshall 45 cal

This product is great. When using them, make sure you use #11 caps- they seat more firmly on these nipples than on the OTM nipples, and give much better 1st time ignition.

They are the one and only modification I make to my pistols. Caps fit better and don't cause jams. A must have for any BP shooter.
