Bought slix nipples for ny 1851 colt 1858 Remington and my dragoon too cocked to shoot installed easily excited to try them and the slix hand also

SliXshot nipples fit both the caps and the revolvers I use perfectly. Caps stay put and cylinder jams just don't happen any more.

Installed these nipples on Pietta Remington. After several cylinders fired, no misfires or cap jams. This also improved ignition which helped accuracy.

Hello reader, Cowboy Gun here. If you're slightly on the fence about purchasing these Slixshot nips I would suggest you pull the trigger already! I purchased 2 sets of Slixshots for myself and my girlfriends 1858 carbines. She just loves her new nipples! We had no cap jams to memory and prior to using these nipples my 58 was about enough to make this cowboy throw that humdinger in the river! Very important to use the recommended caps as shorter caps may cause a chainfire. Also make sure to give a touch of antiseize to each nipple when installing. I just know you'll love these new nips as much as we do. I would also note these are not just shiny new bling to make your 6 Gun more pretty. The flash holes are wider and the cap cone end protrudes further toward your hammer. If your having ignition issues from hammer not hitting cap hard enough this will solve that issue. Before these nipples my Gun was nothing more than a club against those black bears or wildcats. Now I'm confident it will go bang everytime! So how about it partner? I can't give 5 stars for the product because I haven't had a chance to shoot the pistol. But they did go on good and seem to hold the caps good so I'm sure they'll be great. Fast shipping and easy to order on the website

Was upgrading an old 3d model dragoon I acquired and remember most of the gurus on utube recommended slixshot nipples. So rather than wait for a problem I decided to eliminate the possibility. They work great. Got the wrench because of design and you can never have enough good tools.

If you want to shoot cap n ball pistols you will need these. And cap n ball w/ blackpowder is the most fun your gonna have shooting. If you are having issues it's not going to be fun. So these are the best and will solve most of your issues. When people see me shoot in competition they can't believe it. Then they want to see my nipples :)

Work great , no spent cap jams at all. Less problems , much more shooting.

I bought a 1851 Pietta revolver. It was practically unshootable due to caps falling from the nipples and jamming the action. I replaced the nipples with new ones from Slixsprings and it completely solved the problem.Great product.

I couldn't ask for faster shipping and a better product. Accepts my 1858 new Army Remington perfectly.

These revolver nipples are the cat's meow! I think they channel every bit of fire and heat down to the powder charge, seems to cut a bit off detonation time, but I really have no way to measure.
Be sure to use some preventative lube so you can take them out easily.

Herd about these on U-Tube Channel of Mike Bellevue (Duelist 1954) Gave them a try, WORK GREAT. have since gotten a set for all of my C&B pistols. Definitely a great product. Their nipple wrench is top notch too.
