A great solution to prevent cap jams in my 1860 black powder revolvers.

My 1860 Army revolvers suffered from cap jams.. Slixshot nipples eliminated most of that problem.

Purchased stainless nipples and tool. Fit perfectly! Purchased same from other companies and they don't compare. Awesome company! Would perfer to buy all parts here if I could.

#10 and #11 caps now fit fine. However it seems like the nipples might be a little long for my 1851 Navy. There is not much room to get them on but they do go on.

Yes… they are designed to be a tad longer to provide better ignition. Most of the factory nipples are too short.

Percussion caps are hard to come by so every time I got misfire from factory or other after market nipples I felt sad . I replaced my Uberti Colt Walker with Slix shots nipples and got 100% Ignition. I will replace all my active cap and ball revolver with Slixshots nipples

They both work great no problems what so ever I had two nipple wrenches before the ends would roll over and strip out. Slix wrench doesn't do that it works great and so does the nipples thanks for making quality products I Highly recommend these products. Thanks again wayne

Somewhat pricey but they performed well. First 50 shots, there were no cap sucking issues. They take a #11 cap.

Great product and customer service. Slixsprings solves a very consistent problem with black powder revolvers and makes them reliable and enjoyable to shoot. Slixshot nipples are the only nipples in my revolvers. They work great, stay clean and I get no jammed caps.

These are by far the best after market pistol nipples that i've used. They fit my Pietta 1860 perfect.The two small side holes on the nipples split the cap nicely allowing easy removal . # 10 caps fit snugly .Finish is excellent.

I was having problems with #11 caps jamming my Pieta 1860. Installed the Slixsprings nipples solved!

I use these nipples in all my Uberti cap & ball Revolvers with no problems whatsoever.

What a remarkable product you folks have come up with. I found that by replacing the original nipples on all my percussion revolvers your Slixshot ones made a tight fit with #11 percussion caps. Before, on the original percussion nipples, the #11 caps were very loose and I had to use only #10 caps.

I like companies that practice what they preach. The Slixshot nipples work better than the original. Caps fit tighter but not too tight.

I put these on all of my cap and ball revolvers. I tried them VS the stock nipples on a pietta 1858 remington repro. The problems with the stock nipples were nonexistent with the slix shots. I will go as far as to say they solved 99.9 percent of the stock nipple problems such as cap sucking and misfires. Please do not quit making these, they are great!!
