Changed out 3 revolvers to these nipples. Now to find #11 caps. None to be found so far.

Very pleased with the SlixShot nipples I received. Greatly improved cap ignition and greatly reduced cap jams. Will recommend to all black powder cap and ball shooters and will gladly buy again.

Installed these nippels on my 1851 navies and my 1860 army revolvers. So far over 200 rounds without a hitch. Great product!

Since I first purchased these, I have been regularly updating all my BP pistols and rifles using #10 or #11 caps. They really help the cap to split and fall off the nipple. I have much fewer cap jams. Also makes cleanup and care of the pistol's cylinder (nipple area) easy as these are stainless steel.

I have 2 Uberti 1861 Navy revolvers. Both had cap jam issues until I got these nipples.

They work amazingly with my Remington New Model Army .44 cal Thank you very much!

ESPECIALLY if you have a Colts design, these nipples solve the issue of cap jams. I was in awe the first time I shot my 1860 (factory non modified gun). After firing the caps were still on the nipples and not blowed out. Some minor fitting of your action may be required, but 100% worth it. These nipples will go in ALL my cap and Ball Revolvers.

I recently got a 1861 Navy Colt reproduction by Uberti. I did my research before hand and ordered these before i received the gift but did a test with the factory nipples before switching. It made a world of difference. With the factory Nipples i couldn't make it through a whole cylinder without having to diagnose problems and dig out stuck caps with a pocket knife. With the Slixshot nipples installed i totally resolved that issue and the revolver worked as normal!

Ordered the set for my Pietta LeMat. Set of 10 SlixShot nipples, one for each chamber and one for the shotgun central bore. And now all chambers fire 100% reliably!!!

I have installed SliX nipples in the five reproduction percussion .44 revolvers that I shoot most often. What a difference they these nipples have made! They have virtually eliminated cap jams and stuck caps that I must pry off with a screw driver. My review represents several hundred rounds put through each revolver before and after the SliX installation. The guns consist of a Ruger Old Army and Pietta Colt and Remington replicas. I have recommended these nipples to several friends who have enjoyed the same improvements to their shooting experience.

worked great on my 51 navy. still having trouble with caps falling in the mechanism of my 62's. think i will have to jb weld the safety notches on these two. haven't tried my 58 yet but don't foresee any problems there at all. these are nice nipples and i recommend them. their wrenches are unbeatable. by the way, Patrick is great to work with, very knowledgeable and immediate response with any questions. good company and good products.

Regrettably the nipples were the wrong thread size. You listed these nipples to fit my Remington 1861 revolver so I bought them without removing the old ones. That is also why I bought your nipple wrench. That wound up breaking but I was able remove one . The original is a.225-32. My fault for jumping the gun.

We have never heard of that size of thread. (.225 x 32 ??) The most common are: 12-28 SAE, 6mm x .75mm Metric, or ¼ x 28 SAE. Not sure what you have. Sounds like an older imported revolver that used an odd thread size. Yes… we highly recommend removing one of the nipples and check the threads first if you aren’t sure what the brand is. Also sending us a picture of it helps. We are happy to assist in this way.

These Nipples are a necessary upgrade if you are using cap and balls for hunting or competitive shooting, if not they're just a really nice upgrade. the increase in reliability is night and day.

These new nipples made my 44 army work well the caps don’t fall off the nipples of the other five chambers when I fire For the first time I shot all six rounds with out screwing around with caps or cap debris

I’m very happy with these firing cones! I haven’t had a single cap jam in my colt Walker since replacing the factory nipples with these ones.

Slic shots seem to work very well, caps fell off easy .will be purchasing these for my other cap n ball guns.

Replaced the OEM nipples with these and they are MUCH better and work awesome. Zero misfires or problems. OEM nipples had two times that I didn't get ignition of the powder... not with these!
