These stopped 90% of my cap jams. These are the best single item I have found to stop cap jams and ensure positive ignition. I now use them in all 5 of my revolvers, and can't say enough good things about them.

I tried your Slix Shot nipples on my 1849 Uberi Colt.I had no misfires or cap jams. Practically every shot with the nipples that came with the gun would jam between hammer and frame unless I took the time to shake them out. I fired all five shots with your nipples as easily as I would my Ruger single six.

These fit the pocket Remington and Slix are always my first modification to any cap and ball due to their quality and compatibility with available caps. Slix wrench works great as fo my cci 11 caps. Zero jammed caps and zero failures to ignite , drastic improvement over pietta nipples.

If you want to make your percussion revolver as reliable as a cf buy these

The slixshot nipples just about eliminated cap jams. They are well made too.

these are the best nipples all around, i wouldn't normally change my blackpowder handgun nipples to stainless steel, but after finding out about slixshot nipples i have changed over to them. i don't have the problems that i kept having with them, no more misfires or jams.

First, order service was fast and ordrr arrived quickly. The cones/nipples fit my Uberti perfectlyand are well made. Easy install. These cones essentially eliminated cap blowback and jamming.

It stopped 99.9% of my cap jams I really highly recommend switching to these nipples.

The items are of high quality. However I was unable to use them because they did not fit my gun. Totally my fault, not Slixshot.

The factory nipples led to a cap jam nearly every shot because of blowback. These slix shot nipples solved it…completely! Fired 40 rounds with new nipples and had zero blow back cap jams. Thanks!

Unhappy with the performance of my Uberti 1862 Pocket Police revolver I ordered a set of the Slixsprings nipples. They didn't fix the problem either. What I found out from Slixsprings is that some of the Pocket Police are very close toleranced which is the case with mine. A replacement of "short" nipples has fixed the problem. As a matter of fact the factory nipples were too long also which bound up the cylinder with caps on & was very hard to rotate. I just didn't realize the problem from the start. Very happy now.

This is a follow-up to the review from August 11, 2023. We sent the customer a shorter set of nipples and are glad to hear that they resolved the problem.

Not impressed. Factory nipples worked as good. Both sets were too tall causing cylinder to drag. Had to file nipples down to clear the recoil shield when rotating cylinder. Still had cap jams but a little better

We contacted the customer and explained that if both the factory nipples and our nipples are too long, the issue is likely related to the revolver’s manufacturing tolerances rather than the nipples themselves. In the meantime, we sent him a shorter set specifically for this application. This situation is very rare, but it can occur.

Great fit, easy to install. Reduced cap jams in my Uberti 1862 Pocket Police Revolver.

I routinely change out the factory nipples on any percussion gun that I intend on keeping. Slix Shot nipples are the best I have ever used. They pretty much end any cap sucking problems I have had. Great piece of gear. Can't go wrong.

They sure are pretty, but did not help with cap jams. Thanks anyway for taking my $32.00.
