I have close to a dozen cap and ball revolvers, and I have installed Slixprings nipples on the ones I shoot regularly and carry in the woods on black powder hunts - because they work 100% of the time. No more cap jams or failures to fire - these make my cap and ball guns as reliable as centerfire pistols.

Nowadays, is hard to find percussion caps N.10 so I contacted on weekend to SliXpring and they responded to me immediately and recommend their Product guaranteeing that their product would work well with percussion caps numbers 10 and 11 and that was true. I bough 6 for a Uberti 1860 and 6 for a Pietta 1858 I'm very please with SliXprings.

ordered these for my 1858 pietta repro because the pietta nipples dont work well with #11 caps. caps fit much tighter but have not shot it yet. think these will be perfect

I have started replacing all of my Cap and ball revolver nipples with Slixshot nipples. I find I get more consistent ignition as well and fewer cap jams.
The only exception to the later statement is on a Uberti 1861 navy revolver that I believe has a lighter hammer spring allowing the spent cap to drop down into the action.

I had a continuing issue with a Uberti
1st model Dragoon. The issue was that I continued to get inconsistent cap ignition. But once I replaced the nipples with Slixshot nipples. The problem was eliminated.

I wasn’t sure which product to buy and I was given the right answer once I contacted the company. I ordered the stainless nipples for my Revolver and they fit perfectly. I was very happy and pleased.

My old nipples on my replica Colt Dragoon were wore out. Replaced them with SliXshot nipples. They threaded in perfectly. The gap between the cylinder and the hammer is back. I have not taken the revolver out yet. Still winter here. Do not anticipate any issues.

On my 1851 navy, these nipple works good with the Rem#10 caps that I had,a lot less cap jams. But now I cant find any more Rem #10 caps and had to buy CCI#11 and was lucky to find them, I probably will start using them next week so I'm hopping these CCI#11 caps will also work good on your Slix-Shots nipples....

Threaded into the cylinder easy enough. They're a tad bit longer than the originals. Haven't tried them under fire yet, may increase stars after actually using them

Yes… The Slixshot nipples are designed to be a “tad bit longer” as 99% of the factory ones are too short.

This is my second set and love them. Cap jams and misfires have all but disappeared

The quality of Slixshot is why I really like them. No off center flash holes, no “slag” or leftover metal from machining and no angled threads. I have now replaced all the original nipples on my revolvers with Slixshot.

These work great in reducing any cap jams. I just wish for 2 things that you would sell single nipples as some damage can occur eventually and I don't usually need to replace all six, secondly that you would please make some for the 5 shot pocket revolvers, I have more cap jam problems with these than any other models. It's a great product keep up the good work.
