Slix nipples stopped cap fragments falling into hammer slot in frame of my 1860 pony repros, jams reduced to near zero. Caps break up more completely than factory nipples so they fall free of cylinder during cycling. Fit of RWS pistol caps with new nipples is consistent and right neither loose nor too tight. Easy to seat caps fully, no “high riders to jam cylinder or cause mushrooms/ failure to fire.
Easy in and easy out for cleaning, where the stainless construction is also a plus.

100% reliable, consistent ignition. Clears caps with no jams. Installed a set of these nipples on my son’s ASM 1847 Walker. Worked great with CCI #11 Magnum caps and charges of Triple 7 powder.

Pressure vent holes are placed too far up the nipple when using CCI 11 caps (which its supposed to be good for), causing back pressure to vent into the side of the nipple and rupturimg it. Almost every shot results a cap jam, and it was like this for the whole set. Performs far worse then stock Pietta nipples

If this was a problem we would have thousands and thousands of complaints of which we don’t. Read the reviews and you’ll see. Our cones have been engineered with the vent holes positioned in the proper location for optimal performance. The issue you are having is most likely from using older caps or the gun needs proper tuning.

What a difference! No cap jams! If you're new to cap and ball revolvers, this is a big deal! Get these!

These were recommended by an old pistolero. He was having many issues with the stock nipples that were factory issued. He was an avid shooter in local competition. I haven't fired them yet but I don't expect any issues.

I own a pietta and a uberti 1858. Put these on both. Work much better than the originals. Love the fact you can use #11 caps with them. Since that’s all it seems you can get right now. Easy to clean too.

Since switching to these, my caps (10 & 11) don’t fall off like they did. More consistent firing from my revolvers with out a misfire. I have them on all my revolvers and recommend them to anyone.

The RWS 1075 caps fit like a glove. One cap size lets me buy in bulk and save. I never have a fail to fire, caps never fall off & cap jams are rare.

This is my third set of SliXshot nipples. They work great, are easy to clean and just give me more confidence that my 1851 Navy will go bang when I pull the trigger. My only "complaint" (hence 4 Stars) is the price. But, I don't see the need arising to replace these nipples ever again.

A great plus for my Pietta revolvers used for N-SSA matches.

Exceptional product, the caps fly away in pieces, practically eliminating jamming due to pieces of caps.
In the large frame Uberti there was no cylinder jamming. As soon as I receive a discount coupon, I plan to buy three more sets of nipples.
I recommend it to everyone.

Well, I really cannot rate these yet as I am waiting for some RWS 1075 Percussion caps to become available. All the other reviews have raved how much they like them. I give you an update when my caps come in and I can load up the revolver and do some shooting.

My pistol has given me better performance than ever.

With the factory nipple parts of the cap would get down in the hammer and stop the hammer from moving. With the Slix nipple I do not have this problem

Shooting the Pietta Dance revolver and these nipples are fantastic! I've not had one cap jam yet.

Thank you for making quality U.S.A. made tools and parts. The Slix wrench worked perfectly after I broke a cheap Italian wrench trying to remove the nipples from a used Pietta.

I installed Slixprings stainless steel nipples with choke tube lube and expect no more problems.
