All of my ML pistols have SliXshot nipples on them. Replacing the factory nipples is part of the process of cleaning and otherwise getting a new pistol ready to shoot. They make for quick, clean firing, blow the blasted cap off the nipple at the time of ignition, and greatly reduce the chance of a cap jam.

I became involved with these nipples when they first came out. The developers explained that the tiny 90-degree holes in the sides were to minimize back pressure. One of the reasons for heavy hammer springs is to keep the hammer from opening up and allowing the caps to come off the nipple and lock up the action. These cured it. Immediately I could use lighter hammer springs, I had several springs and inserted the lightest, then heavier, etc. until it worked. Since I was using a worn out, out of warranty thumb this extended my ability to shoot Frontiersman by years

I have yet to live fire my Uberti 1851 Navy, but the fit of the nipples is perfect and pair well with the CCI 11 caps. Cylinder moves freely with the caps in place. The original nipples would bind the Cylinder with the caps.

I have purchased a set for each of my two 1851 Navy 44 revolvers. I’m able to shoot with no cap problems or jams. I’m very impressed with the performance of these nipples. My #11 CCI grip the nipples perfectly.

Ordered nipples listed to fit Euroarms revolvers. Nipples nicely machined, and correct thread but too long for either my 1971 or 1974 mfg navy revolvers. Package marked for Pietta revolvers. Maybe my next acquisition will be a Pietta so I can give the nipples a fair test.

Simply return the nipples and we can exchange them for the correct ones. Your older model must have used a shorter nipple which we have.

The first nipples sent did not fit my revolver. However I was able to return them along with one of the old nipples and they found the correct match and shipped back to me. Great service.

I am very satisfied with these BP nipples with very limited use so far. My option on them may change (either way) when I’ve had the opportunity to use them more .
