Got my new slix nipples for shooting sass. They work great!! Definitely increased my ignition!

Big improvement over factory nipples. Well pleased with slixshot nipples. The nipple wrench works well also.

Will solve cap jam problems and #11 cci caps fit perfectly. Will be putting them on all my cap and ball revolvers.Also your nipple wrench is top notch.

Purchased a set of slix-shot cones for my Ruger old army.
I make my own percussion caps due to the "shortage" and was having trouble igniting triple seven powder in paper cartridges. These nipples were just what was needed. There is a noticeable difference just firing caps on empty chambers, a lot more fire is shot into the bore.
These new nipples are vented to help clear caps after firing but I cannot comment on their effectiveness as I have only used my thin home made caps.

Overall I am very impressed. Shipping was quick, machining is impeccable and the finish matches my cylinder perfectly. This has brought my pistols reliability up to 100% and made for a much more enjoyable shoot.

I ran 12 cylinders through 2 Pietta 36’s this morning and had zero cap jams!!!

Slixprings was very helpful in getting the proper sized nipples for my Uberti .36. And while shooting with those new nipples, the fired caps under the hammer problem has disappeared. To say the least, I'm very pleased.

I put them on my uberti 1851 .36 navy they always fire , easy to clean, will buy more when l get another BP revolver

I replaced all the cones in both of my 1858 Remington revolvers. They hold the #11 caps before and after shooting.
No more cap jams!!

I wouldn’t say zero cap jams but a lot fewer of them. Just overall better performance with the Slixshot nipples.

I have done the range sessions now with these nipples and they are a definite improvement. I will be upgrading all my revolvers to these.

These are a great upgrade to my 1851 Navy.

Absolutely the best. They've totally corrected my ignition issues and resolve loose fitting caps.

Fit perfect, easy to clean. Consistent ignition. Can’t say they work better than original but, I appreciate the fact that they are far less susceptible to corrosion. These should last a lifetime.

Slixshot BP nipples have proven to be an outstanding upgrade to my Remington 44. No more worries about finding #10 caps. These hold #11's securely and provide improved ignition.
I will be buying more.

For my 1858 New Model Army revolver, I wasn't totally impressed. Had a few hangfires vs. none with the factory nipples.

This can happen if the caps are not pushed on firmly.

The order was prompt and ahead of schedule. Nipples went into my 1858 new Model cylinder easily. The # 10 caps fit tight with no lose during shooting. No miss-fires, nice product and will get more for my other black powder revolver black powder cylinder.

Put these on all my cap & ball revolvers both Uberti and Pietta. I’ve been using them for years. They effectively eliminate “cap jams”. Shot a clean two day 12 stage match with them.

Very great products. This was my third purchase. I have four Italian reproduction cap n ball revolvers. All have these nipples on them.
My last order I mistakenly ordered the wrong ones. I realized my mistake when I got the order confirmation. I called right away and explained. They caught the order and corrected my error. Awesome customer service!!
