These are excellent nipples for a black powder revolver.

I purchased the Slixprings nipples and the Slixprings nipple wrench for my 1858 CP revolver and both worked flawlessly. I have had a difficult time finding percussion caps so after 30 days I have yet to be able to fire it to give an account. Happy so far.

Its December out, so I haven't had a chance to shoot using these new nipples, but they look good, and fit great. If the work as well as the Slix wrench, I will be ecstatic.

I have SliX Shot nipples on all four of my black powder revolvers and they work excellent for reducing “cap jams” and I can now use #11 percussion caps that are easier to find. Replacing the stock nipples (cones) on a black powder revolver is the best and first thing I do to mine. These are the best working cones made, if you ask me. The customer service is excellent too! I'm very highly satisfied with SliX Shot nipples! 😊👍

These nipples are the best for Blackpowder revolvers

Much better than the cheaper cones that come stock on the Italian reproductions. I prefer to standardize where I can, having cones that fit #11 caps reliably is part of that standardization. I will be buying more.

Very happy with all of the Slixshot nipples I recently purchased.

Not perfect but improved cap failure if I'm able to get #10 caps hopefully even better using #11 now.

Well machined quality part. Be sure to use grease on threads installing any threaded blackpowder nipple.

I have a number of black powder revolvers that I shoot regularly. I have put SlixShot nipples on all of them because they work much better than the factory nipples, which have a tendency to not hold the primers well and cause action jams. I highly recommend these nipples.

The nipples are well made. Threads are very crisp and the nipples fit #11 caps with a little *click* that's very satisfying.

Worked like a dream on inert 1851 and an 1861. Also the stainless makes the much easier to see the carbon for cleaning.

Ive been shooting with these once. I shot 26 rounds.

With the original nipples, I had multiple caps get stuck and jammed on requiring tools and extensive effort to remove.

With the new ones, no caps stuck and only a couple required manual removal with no tools.

They are worth it just for that.

I purchase these for all my Black powder revolvers. Cap suck issue goes way down.

I think with these nipples if that's what they are calling them your BP revolver performs like they did in the 1800s. Les misfires less hang ups. Because I have two 58 uberti pistols and 1 1860 colt peita or whatever it is. They perform so much better than stock nipples

Came in a timely manner. I have not used the Slix shots nipples yet. It is 15 degrees out in the daytime. Too cold to stand out on the snow covered and windy range to load and shoot. I like to be comfortable when I shoot, and the bullet lube is as hard as a rock. I will try to remember to update my review this spring.
