Absolutely love these . I have them on almost all my pistols now, I will definitely be buying more. Far better than any factory cones/nipples that I’ve used . If you're on the fence about trying them .. just do it . You’ll be happy you did

These nipples make shooting a lot more fun without cap jams! They are quality made.

These nipples are perfect for my Uberti 1860 Army. Consistent cap splits, and no cap jams yet. I also like that the shoulders are a little taller than the stock Uberti's, making assembly and disassembly easier. And the fact that they are hardened stainless steel, which are more durable, and corrosion resistant than the stock nipples. The caps fit better too. Well worth the money.

Easy installation. Holds percussion caps without fail. Every chamber ignited without any problems. No misfires. No fallen caps. Ignition every single shot. Replacing all my cylinders with SlXshot nipples.

Finally got around to changing out the stock nipples on my 1851.
Only fired a few cylinder full, but no cap jams!

I got these slixshots for my walker and it greatly improved the cap jam problem, before it would jam a lot and I would never be able to shoot a full cylinder without it jamming. After I replaced the nipples with the slixshots cap jams are pretty rare, overall very pleased with them and I'll definitely buy again for my other revolvers

I have a 1858 pietta Army cap and ball revolver. I was unable to find Remington #10 Percussion caps. The CCI#11 Percussion caps would fit snugly on one of those factory ones. So I ordered these Slixshot nipples for the task. The CCI#11s fit snugly on each one. Very Happy with the purchase.

I purchased two sets, one for the 1847 Walker and one for the new Pietta 1851. The Walker was a dramatic difference, far fewer cap jams. The 1851 not nearly as dramatic, but noticeably better. I believe that was more on the quality of the pistol than the SliXshot cones.

Firstly, the product is outstanding. Easy to install, clean, and makes the more common CCI #11 caps fit perfectly. I literally could not remove the caps after they were installed, which is what you want.

Where I was most impressed however was the customer service. I'm new to BP shooting and didn't realize that dry firing my revolver can (and did) damage my hammer and nipples. After realizing this, I emailed customer support to see if this was my mistake (it was), or a defect. I was fully honest and up front about my mistake. Despite this however, I was sent a new set of nipples free of charge.

I was genuinely speechless. You've earned yourself a lifetime customer sir. THANK YOU!!!

The Slix Shot Nipples is a Must Have Product to Shoot Cap Guns on a Regular Basis .
I would call this the best Product for Percussion Gun shooting in the last 50 years .
I personally run them on ALL My Cap Guns !

I’ve put these on all my cap and ball revolvers. Takes care of any ignition issues. I highly recommend them.

Replaced the nipples on all 5 of my BP revolvers with Slix and they are a great product. Patrick was also helpful in steering me to what I needed.

I have several percussion revolvers in different calibers. Since I have been using Slixshot nipples my shooting has improved because they eliminated the cap jams that irritated the heck out of me. Now I can concentrate on shooting instead of prying caps from under my hammar. I highly recommend them. Shooting is a lot more fun!

Have a uberti leech and rigdon that had some issues with cap jams. As some may be aware reproductions are not built the same as originals, the problems lie in the geometry of the parts itself particularly the nipples as well as the hammer face. Slixshot nipples drastically improved the performance along with some minor rework of the hammer face!

Now I know why so many people rave about them.
Worked so much better both on my 1851 Colt and my 1858 Remington. Excellent upgrade.

Caps don't fragment and stay out of the action. They do open up but not like regular nipples that shread the caps. The insides of the colt style revolvers stay lots cleaner . I regularly shoot 100 round balls through uberti 1861 25 gr pyrodex p. The insides of the gun look like I've shot around 25 ~30 rounds. I ordered another set for my other 1861 because of how much cleaner the inside stayed.

By replacing the stock nipples on a percussion revolver with SlixShot nipples is a great way to improve the function and reliability. They will give reliable ignition and greatly reduce or even eliminate cap jams. I have installed them on all of my black power percussion revolvers. I’m very happy I did. 😃👍
