Installation Steps
1. Verify Firearm Is Unloaded
Always confirm the firearm is completely unloaded and safe to handle before beginning any disassembly.
2. Disassemble the Action
Remove the necessary side plates or action components according to the manufacturer’s instructions to access the trigger assembly.
3. Remove Factory Trigger Components
Carefully drift out trigger pins and remove the factory trigger, spring, and related components while noting their orientation for reassembly.
4. Clean and Inspect Parts
Clean the trigger housing and inspect all mating surfaces for wear, debris, or burrs that may affect smooth operation.
5. Install SliXprings Trigger Component
Install the SliXprings trigger part, ensuring correct alignment with pins, springs, and engagement surfaces.
6. Reassemble the Action
Reinstall all removed components in reverse order of disassembly. Ensure all pins are properly seated and springs are correctly positioned.
Function Testing
After installation, carefully test trigger function. The trigger should move smoothly, reset properly, and engage consistently without binding or excessive creep.
If irregular behavior occurs, disassemble and verify spring orientation and alignment.
